Burberry is a British luxury fashion brand that manufactures and sells a variety of handbags, scarves, shoes, sunglasses and cosmetics to name. Needless to say, when you think of a trench coat, this brand immediately comes to mind. Cream coloured trench coats with the distinctive patterned trademark reign supreme with luxury. Burberry's tartan pattern is distinctive, and it blends in nicely with black and navy...the darker hues in particular. That iconic trench coat was created by Thomas Burberry himself. This company is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The tartan trademark skirt
If you've thought of luxury department store Harrods in London's Knightsbridge synonymous with Burberry...congratulations, a gold star goes to you. Living in London introduced me to this fashion and luxury designer goods brand. In Australia, David Jones is a Burberry superstar.
Love the tartan. I am extremely grateful to be the proud owner of an authentic Burberry cashmere tartan scarf. This scarf is better than plain black, although it is awesome to invest in both pieces in your wardrobe. Love the box the Burberry scarf comes in. Whether I am wearing a white shirt with a black sleeveless jumper and jeans (skinny or otherwise); this scarf just blends in nicely. It gives plain-less, simple (corporate) fashion a real facelift. You can simply replace the jeans with a black shirt - leather or otherwise with a pair of boots reaching knee high, and the scarf is just adorable hanging down.
The scarf also blends in well with my Polo Ralph Lauren navy polo top with a pair of light blue coloured jeans with boots over the top.
Burberry kids shirt. Lovely.
Most of all, this scarf is timeless and should never go out of style. Some iPhone owners have also invested in the traditional tartan iPhone cover too.
The Burberry fun does not stop there. Their make up is soft, and their perfume products are decorated in that fashion tartan, but at a softer level.
Burberry store at Sydney's George Street
A well respected brand. Burberry have also brought out a children's clothing line, of which has it's own dedicated space at David Jones' Elizabeth Street store in Sydney City. Those Burberry shirts are just divine; and not to mention the pretty cotton dresses smothered in the Burberry tartan trademark.
