Many people are familiar with this Italian luxury fashion brand from the film The Devil Wears Prada. Prada has been around since 1913. The genius behind this luxury fashion powerhouse is Mario Prada.
An Italian fashion icon
First off, Prada are known for their high end, stylish handbags. They can be found at luxury department stores in Australia such as David Jones, and they have their own concept stores. It was only until the 1970's that stylish backpacks and totes came in. The creator started to gain inspiration from his daughter in doing so.
Candy, Prada's most successful fragrance to date.
In addition to selling bags, Prada had also released some stylish watches for both genders. This fashion line was discontinued in 2012, with a good five years in the market to that point.
The writers Prada sunglasses
I love their black sunglasses. They're a true fashion statement, and ever so comfortable. Their logo is so distinctive, although to this day still unclear as to whether or not Prada was trying to imitate Louis Vuitton. Maybe time could tell.

The most affordable and accessible Prada masterpiece would have to be their fragrances. Due to the success of their Candy brand of fragrance, Prada is shining. Candy is their most recent fragrance brand to launch into the marketplace, and it did so in 2011. Candy is one of nine Prada fragrance brands to help the everyday, busy woman maintain some style and substance in a fashionable life.
