Finding quality children's fashion that fits well, looks good, and is made using high quality fabrics can be quite a challenge in today's retail world.
Most children's clothing sold today can be quite boring, poor quality, and a lot of it emblazoned with logo's and television characters; certainly not worth their unusually high price tag.
Occasionally though, there are children's fashion brands that stand out from the rest, and Melbourne based independent label SUDO Kids fills the void where many others don't.
SUDO Kids established itself in 2003, founded by Melbourne designer and father of three, Terry Lay. Terry set about creating an edgy fashion label for kids with a strong sense of style, aged 2 to 12 years.

SUDO Kid's say they "don't create 'Children's Clothing' but instead develop On Trend, Fashionable and Progressive Clothing that fits children".
A strong statement, but it is easy to see why when much of SUDO Kids clothes would look amazing on adults, although their designs are appropriately adapted with little people in mind.
SUDO Kids is a brand that offers stylish designs for girls and boys. Any child wearing the fashion brand will be sure to stand out in a crowd wearing the coolest cut shirts, skinny jeans, beautiful boho dresses, fringe tops to funky shorts and on-trend summer swimwear.
SUDO Kids can be found in clothing boutiques across Australia and New Zealand as well as selected retailers in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Europe. SUDO Kids recently opened a pop up store in Richmond, Melbourne, which has since closed, but online sales continue.
If this is a label that tickles your fashion taste-buds, do keep an eye out on their Facebook page for all the latest brand news. Also, if you sign up to receive newsletters via SUDO Kids website, you will also be first to hear of their Melbourne based sales where you will get the chance to shop for last season's fashion at heavily discounted prices.
