Sleep has never looked sexier, or more sensual, with the new silky floral pyjama and pants and vests set.

From Somerset’s knock-out lingerie and sleepwear line comes this 100% silk, thigh-skimming gown. There’s also a slightly less racy pyjama set in the same pattern. Only medium is stocked online but all other sizes are available in-store. Somerset by Alice Temperley Palm Short Robe, £140, John Lewis

Inspired by peacocks, Australian illustrator Kareena Zerefos has designed a range of sleepwear for Californian brand Element Eden. It’s a small, delicate collection made with soft cotton and satin detailing. The lingerie also comes in bandeau and thong styles. Fi underwear, £30, Element Eden

New York-based designer Ulrika Vallance makes vintage-inspired loungewear. She has four collections, each with a camisole, shorts, robe and a slip. Pieces are made from a cotton-and-silk mix, with lace trims. The camisoles and shorts can be bought as a set, saving you £10. Cami gift set, £135, Ulrika Vallance

British designer Stephanie Woolven’s StephieAnn pieces are layered with intricate floral illustrations. All pieces are handmade and hand wash only. This cotton-silk mix cami has an open back and is tied with two soft adjustable bows. Pansy printed camisole, £55, Br4nd.co.uk
