Blazers for Work and Weekends

The blazer is a classic way to add a bit of polish to your weekend wardrobe. It is also a versatile addition to your office wear.



Fortunately, blazers are pretty much always in fashion, and you can find many cheap and affordable styles both in stores and online.

I own two blazers; a boyfriend-style black blazer, and a shorter, more fitted navy blazer. Given the money though, I would splurge on many more! If you are new to blazers, try to find a style and colour that is versatile. Avoid creamy or beige tones as these can be hard to match.



Navy blazers look fantastic with blue jeans and a plain white tee, while a red blazer will add a pop of colour to a boring work outfit.

The trick is to work the rest of your outfit in with the occasion. If you are wearing tailored pants, the blazer will immediately look more formal. If you want to dress it down, make sure the rest of your clothing is more relaxed.
