Brownlow 2014 Red Carpet Best Dressed
The 2014 Brownlow red carpet encompassed a lot of glitz and glamour. Many girls took risks with beautiful designs and styles. Popular colours this year include white and a range of pastel colours and gowns with sheer panels were also a favourite.
With years of experience on the red carpet, Rebecca Judd has yet again worn a beautiful gown created by the talented and well-known Melbourne duo J’Aton. Quite different to what she has worn in the past, the high neck, fitted beaded bodice was finished with tiered layers from the waist down. Bec was definitely a stand out on the red carpet.
Marc Murphy’s girlfriend, Jessie Habermann wore an intricate Oglia Loro couture gown. Its hand-beaded bodice was finished with sheer sleeves and skirt. With this beautiful creation taking two months to create, its value to purchase is over twenty-six thousand dollars. This was one of my favourites, which deserved to be best gown of the evening.
Belinda Riverso brought glitz to the red carpet with her beautiful gold gown. This fitted dress had a beautiful plunging neckline and split located in the center of the gown. Riverso went for a glamorous and classic look perfect for any red carpet event.
Another well-known red carpet attendee Nadia Bartel, went for an edgy look this year. Created by One Day Bridal, Bartel wore a fitted gown with a plunging neckline finished with metal and leather trimmings. This was a different style on the red carpet, however Bartel pulled it off well.
With sheer being a popular theme on the carpet, you could not got past Gary Ablett’s girlfriend Jordan Papalia. Created by Anthony Montesano from Signor Mont Couture, her strapless gown was finished with a sheer skirt and armbands in a beautiful pastel grey tone.
Many risks were taken this year but were executed by all these beautiful women. Let's wait and see what next year will bring.
